Slow network printing on Windows 2008 Server

XP clients with a default printer that is located on a 2008 print server cluster that utilizes an HP driver.

All clients were experiencing very slow performance when browsing network shares, opening files, printing files, and viewing the properties of HP printers.

This is an HP Universal Printer Driver issue there was a problem with the current dll files causing constant communication and performance problems.

I had to replace the cioum.dll and the hpzbid.dll files with the ones supplied by HP 2nd level printer support.

If you are having the same issues call 1800-334-5144 use the keyword Laserjet and ask to escalate for performance issues with a 2008 server cluster.

If you are having the same issues change your default printer to a local printer or any non HP printer and if you see performance come back you have the same issue and need the fix from HP.
