Slow network printing on Windows 2008 Server

Hi All,

My cluster printing on server 2008 R2 was slow. It was around 30 seconds delay to print documents on any printer models through the print server.

I tried all the fixes mentioned in the above posts but non of them helped me. Then I found that while trying to ping the printer's IP, it was pinging through the Heart Beat network first then was pinging through the public network which was causing the delay.

My printers were in 10.11.3.* network and the Heart Beat was 10.10.10.* network

After changing the Heart Beat to 20.20.20.* everything worked normally. Now I can print fast as normal.

Hope this information help others who had same NIC configuration mistake.
